My first giveaway, what fun! And my 100th post, wow. Plus, my blog's two year anniversary is in about two weeks. Plus I have a bunch of new followers! So those sound like a good reason for a giveaway!
Open Wide Bag pattern by Noodlehead, using some Grand Hotel fabric by Jenean Morrison. |
So what is it? Well a bunch of stuff I thought some fellow quilting/crafting ladies might like. And if you're a quilting/crafting guy, then you might know a lady that will enjoy what you won't! Want a closer look?
About 4 years ago I convinced myself to try being a Mary Kay consultant. I gave it a good try, then got pregnant and realized it wasn't what I wanted to do with a baby on the hip. So I gave up...and still have a load of product! Ugh. What a waste of money, for me anyway. At this point I just try to give it away to friends and family occasionally. Here's what's in the giveaway bag:
Two sample size packs of Satin Hands--you will love these. It's a super lotion, then a scrub, then a light lotion. |
About 25 bobbin tamers--you can see how they wrap around the purple thread. |
So how are you interested? Is this a good package for a first giveaway?
Here's how to enter: go to my pinterest board and tell me in a blog comment what your favorite quilt is that I've made: http://pinterest.com/lostaspen/quilts-i-made-from-my-blog/
I will draw a winner Sunday night! Thanks for being apart of my quilting community!
I know you asked for us to pick just one but I could only narrow it down to 2 and that was hard. The landscape quilt (I would like to do one myself one day) and the Rainbow quilts (absolutely love the colors) are my favorites. Beautiful work on everything though.
ReplyDeleteI really like the postage stamp quilt, but it's the Cesarean quilt that blows me away. The quilting is amazing and the idea behind it... I think people dismiss c-sections as no big deal, when they're huge. I had two unexpected ones myself. The second was definitely necessary, the first wouldn't have happened if different choices had been made.
ReplyDeleteI like the most recent one with the airplane. I'm partial to the rainbow quilt as well. They really are all lovely though - I like them all.
ReplyDelete(Please leave me out of the give-a-way drawing. I don't wear makeup :) )
Thank you so much for offering such a lovely and generous giveaway. My favorites are 3 Tree, Rainbow Hexagon, and King's Corner. However, all of your quilts are stunning, and I am truly in awe of your talent.

I love the pouch! It is great :) I have to say I love the quilt you recently made in the blues and I also like the salt water triangle quilt and the tree with the heart!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the wedding quilt. The colors are so gorgeous. I like the Grandma's stacked coin also because it reminds me of a quilt my grandmother had made.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhhh! I'm so glad you posted this - I hadn't seen your pinterest board yet! I LOVE the Wedding Quilt - it just jumped out at me. I'm also super inspired by your landscape quilt - I have something very similar planned and I really want to make one this summer! I'm so glad that I've found your blog! AND, congrats on the 100th post! That's so exciting :)
ReplyDeleteI like how you displayed your quilts on Pinterest. My favorite of your quilts is Julie's Half Square Triangle one. Since most people are mentioning more than one quilt, my next favorites are the Salt Water Triangles and the Bear Claw. You are an inspiration to me Renee!
ReplyDeleteThe tree! The tree! Oh my goodness. I love the tree. I really like out of the box quilts and that is too wonderful. I was totally liking some of your colorful quilts, but the tree was too great. 3 trees certainly gets my vote.

Wow you have made some amazing quilts! I like the chrisbobsquarepants, wedding and landscape but I LOVE the HST diamonds quilt! Thanks for a lovely giveaway :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to put your quilts up on Pinterest. I'm all about colour, so it's the rainbow quilt for me. But tell me about the bobbin tamers. What a great idea. I've never seen them before. Those fabrics would love a home in New Zealand, I'm sure! Congrats on reaching 100 posts.
ReplyDeletePeople, people, people, it's the chrisbobsquarepants, hands down. Have you seen the quilting on it! awesome! Although all of them are pretty fantastic. Congrats on your 100th post!
