Hexie bees, Washi tunic and raven feathers. |
I made the raven feathers back in May, intending to make a mini quilt out of them. Really all I need to do is add a border and quilt it.
The hexie bees are also from May--I need to decide on a layout, piece and quilt it.
The Washi tunic is almost done! I've been working on it for a couple of days, and pleased with how quickly it's come together after getting the muslin to fit nicely. You'll be seeing it for TGIFF for sure!
Want to hear more about your Washi experience when you are done. And those raven feathers = :O. Wow.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing that dress finished! :-). Then you can teach me shirring. !
ReplyDeleteOh that tunic is so pretty / the feathers look real!
ReplyDeleteAre those bees paper-pieced? They're really tiny!
ReplyDeleteOh, I do look forward to seeing what you do with the bees. The feathers are going to be a delight, and I am still in awe of anyone who does practical sewing. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the washi! You'll knock those minis out in no time. Fun projects going on :)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing them all finished, especially the bees.
ReplyDeleteI made a paper-pieced bee recently too. I'll post it on my blog when the baby it was made for finally arrives.
