Aurifil variegated sample! I love seeing how different the threads look on the spool vs white fabric vs black fabric! |
I used a variegated blue to quilt waves in the water portion of a pirate ship mini quilt for a swap. It looked great!

ReplyDeleteI recently bought some Fantastico variegated threads from a nationally known quilt teacher. The colors are lovely but I'm having an issue with shredding on my longarm, even with using larger needle. The only (I'm sad to say) Aurifil variegated I have is 4060, Silver Moon, that came in my Subtle Strings collection. I LOVE Aurifil thread and use it exclusively for piecing and often for quilting.
